Actigym, Snow Mushroom, and Caffeine: the science behind the cream

Actigym, Snow Mushroom, and Caffeine: the science behind the cream

We're going to be honest with you: most body creams are mostly water, fragrance, and emollients. They feel nice. They smell nice. They do almost nothing.

We built Peach Plumper™ differently. Every ingredient is there for a reason. Here's what's in it and why.

Actigym™ — the star active

Actigym™ is a patented marine-derived active extracted from microalgae. It works underneath the skin's surface to visibly reduce the appearance of cellulite over time. Not overnight. But with consistent use, your skin will look and feel different. That's the whole idea.

It costs significantly more than standard actives. We use it anyway.

Caffeine — the circulation booster

Caffeine is one of the most well-researched topical ingredients for cellulite. It works by improving microcirculation in the skin, which helps reduce fluid retention and the puffiness that makes cellulite more visible. It also has antioxidant properties that protect the skin from environmental damage.

We use caffeine at a concentration that's actually doing something, not just enough to put it on the label and call it a day.

Snow Mushroom — the plumping agent

Snow Mushroom (Tremella fuciformis) is a natural polysaccharide that holds up to 500 times its own weight in water. This makes it one of the most effective natural hydrating ingredients available. When applied topically, it creates a moisture reservoir in the skin that keeps it plump, smooth, and visibly fuller.

It's also completely natural, sustainably sourced, and biodegradable.

What we don't use

No parabens. No synthetic fragrance. No mineral oil. No silicones. No ingredients we can't explain or justify. If it's in the formula, it's there because it works.
